Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
As the nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society since 2001, ACS CAN has been instrumental in securing billions of dollars in funding for cancer research, as well as expanding access to high-quality and affordable healthcare. Additionally, our efforts have led to advancements in proven tobacco control measures. We are committed to standing alongside our volunteers—individuals whose lives have been touched by cancer—as we collectively demand change.
