Enrique’s Mexican Restaurant, formerly known as El Gallo Giro, began in 1998 in the small town of Kuna, Idaho. In 1999, after a long year of hard work, dedication and love Enrique and Ana were able to purchase the business from the current owner Lucio Prado. Ever since the purchase of the restaurant Enrique and Ana began to transform it into the business you know and love today. The menu is inspired by both Enrique and Ana’s family recipes that have been passed down from generations. One of the most popular and well-known menu item is the famous molcajete’s. These dishes are made and presented in a hot lava rock bowl, sizzling all the way to the table!

In 2015 Ana decided to change the name from El Gallo Giro to Enrique’s Mexican Restaurant. After 17 years of making the restaurant to what it is today, Ana believed it was time to give Enrique the recognition he deserved. Enrique lives and breathes his restaurant. On any given day he can be seen shaking hands and sharing a hearty laugh with his customers as he works his way through the dining room.
