Cristina's journey from Michoacán, Mexico, to becoming a first-generation student in the US shaped her dedication to education and empowerment. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Utah State University and a Master's in Counseling Education from Boise State University, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice.
Cristina's six years of experience as a School Counselor, coupled with her LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in Idaho, highlight her commitment to guiding individuals towards healing and growth. Fluent in Spanish, she bridges cultural divides to ensure that diverse communities can access the support they need. The vision of Roots Counseling LLC is to nurture inner healing and growth, paralleling the strength of roots in nature. Cristina and her team offer compassionate counseling to help individuals strengthen their roots and achieve greater emotional well-being.
